Hardship time limit extensions are officially recorded using form CF-ES 2082. However, the information recorded on the form can also be recorded in OSST for reference. A hardship is added to a customer’s case when the process of granting a hardship extension is being conducted. The Hardship page has four main sections: Referral, Recommendation, Request and Determination. It is these four sections that closely reflect the information recorded on sections A through D of form CF-ES 2082. The date each of these sections are completed may be recorded in the date fields located in the 2082 Completion Dates section of the Hardship Information page.
